Terms and Conditions
Gwithian Farm is a family
campsite.
These conditions have been set for the safety and enjoyment of all.
- There is a strict speed limit of 5mph
- No vehicular movement on site between 11.00pm
and 7.30am
- One pup tent per pitch for children under
18. Maximum size - 2.0m x 1.5m
- One car per pitch. During July and August,
anyone arriving with a second car will have to find their own off
site parking
- Departure time - 10.00am in July and August
- Arrival time, not before12 noon during July
and August
- All visitors must report to Reception on arrival
- Where possible, we will try to accommodate
specific location requests but we reserve the right to re-allocate
pitches if necessary
- Dogs are welcome on site. They must be kept
on a lead at all times and exercised off the site. Any fouling within
the site must be cleared up. Maximum of 2 dogs per pitch, unless by
prior arrangement
- No open fires on the ground. Barbecues must
be placed on a suitable stone base . Please ask at the Office
- No Arrivals later than 9.00pm unless by prior
arrangement.
- Children, who are accompanied to the toilet
when at home, must be accompanied when visiting the campsite toilets
- No ball games after 9.00pm, so that young
children can sleep
- No noise that is likely to upset neighbouring
campers after 10.30pm
- No Gazebos with groundsheets and/or over 2mtr
x 2mtr are permitted due to damage caused to the pitch.
- No riding of bicycles after 9.00pm or when
dark.
- One family per pitch or a maxiumum of 4 adults
per pitch
- Campers travelling overnight during July and
August cannot enter the site before 12 noon as there is no additional
parking space. When the site is full, as in July and August, the drive
becomes blocked if people arrive before the pitches are vacated.
- Groundsheets. Apart from groundsheets that
form an integral part of the tent, all additional
groundsheets must be 'breathable'. This is to ensure that subsequent
campers can enjoy a reasonably green pitch.
- We reserve the right to refuse bookings and/or permission to occupy any pitch at any time..
- No tents larger than 8m in July or August
due to destruction of grass.
Anyone who does not comply with these Terms and
Conditions will be asked to leave the campsite without refund of fees
paid.
